Nut Crackers/ Masala Peanuts



**Recipe**: How to make masala peanuts or Nut crackers




**Ingredients**:


* 1 cup raw peanuts (approx 200 gm) 

* 1 cup besan (gram flour)

* 2 tbsp rice flour

* 2 tbsp corn flour

* pinch of hing (asafetida)

* chaat masala

* Salt to taste

* Red chilli

* Oil for frying


**Directions**:


1. In a bowl mix peanuts, 1/4 tsp salt, pinch of hing, 1 tbsp chaat masla, red chilli, 1/2 tsp dry mango powder and 1 tsp water. Mix well and leave for 5 minutes.


2. In a separate bowl add besan, rice flour, corn flour, salt to taste, red chilli, dry mango powder. Mix well


3. Now in peanuts add spiced flour prepared in step 2 gradually (1tbsp at a time). Add 1 tsp water and mix. Repeat this step until you mix all spiced flour.


4. Do not use much water for mixing. We need just 5-6 tsp water.


5. Separate the peanuts in a plate and then fry in oil on medium heat.


7. When adding in oil oil should be on medium to low heat. After adding coated peanuts in oil leave for 1-2 minutes and  then flip. Fry till it becomes golden brown.


8. Take it out in a bowl. Add 1 tsp red chilli, 1 tbsp chaat masla and mix well


Enjoy! Your masla peanut is ready.
