Ragda petties | रगड़ा पेटीज़ । आलू टिक्की चाट । समोसा चाट




**Recipe**: How to make ragda petties, allu tikki chaat


* Serving*

6-7 plates

Cooking time 30-40 mins.


**Ingredients**:


For Chole:-

* 200 gm yellow peas

* 2 onion

* 8-10 garlic cloves

* 1 inch ginger

* 1 tbsp garam masala

* 1 tbsp coriendar powder

* pinch of hing (asafetida)

* salt to taste

* oil


For tikki:-

* 6boiled potato

* Salt to taste

* 1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida)

* Oil for frying


For Garnish:-

* Chaat masala

* Roasted Cumin powder

* Yellow or Red chilli (optional)

* Green Sause (mint/corriendar chutney)

* Red sauce (Red chutney) if needed recipe comment.


**Directions**:


1. Soak peas for 5-6 hours and the pressure cook for 5-6 wishtle on medium flame.


2. Make paste of onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli


3. In a pan heat 2-3 tbsp oil and fry/saute onion paste till for 5-6 minutes. Add coriendar powder and garam masala. Saute till oil separates.


4. Add boiled peas. Get a boil. Chole is done.


5. Mesh boiled potao and add all purpose flour and salt to taste.


6. Mix it vey well and the make pettise.


7. Add pettice in oil for frying. When adding in oil oil should be on medium to low heat. Fry till golden brown by filliping occasionally. Fry twice to make more crispy


8. Add fried pettice in a plate,  topped with chole chutney chaat masala, jeera/cumin powder and various chutney.


Enjoy! Your ragda pettise is ready.
